Jodie made each visitpersonal, not just medical professional. She gave me her time, she gave me her attention, she gave me her heart. We got to talking about something, of all things lilacs. The lilacs are coming this time of year. I told her I make jelly out of lilac blossoms. I gave her a website that she could look up the recipe. She got excited about that. The next day, she brought me a vase filled with lilacs from her own yard. It was a personal touch I would have never expected. She really went the extra mile. Jodie took time with me. She said the shift she was working allowed her to get to know her patients, their likes, and dislikes, what makes them more comfortable in a strange environment. She made me feel as comfortable and at home, as far away as I was from home. She was as comforting as possible. I've never been a patient at Carson, but I would recommend it to anybody and everybody. I would shout it from the rooftop if I could climb up there!
