I am writing to thank Miss Shivani for the personal care she has provided to me and R. R was admitted for a stroke and remained in 4ICU for approximately 3 weeks. After moving to the step-down floor 9 Tower, Miss Shivani continued to monitor and visit my wife. She calls her by name and compliments her on the small, important successes she accomplishes as a stroke patient.
A month later I had a mild heart attack and was admitted to the 6th floor. During my short stay, Miss Shivani checked in on me as well. I have since been discharged, but Miss Shivani still checks up on us and monitors our progress.
I would like to commend Sonja for her outstanding professionalism and going above and beyond to make her patients feel cared for and special during their time at your hospital. For most of us, being in the hospital for an extended period of time, especially in a unit like ICU, is a tense and unpleasant experience. Having nurses like Miss Shivani on your staff makes the experience a little more pleasant. She has become like a daughter to us and we love her very much.
