I have a chronic condition so unfortunately I visit Virtua more than I wish. This is the first time I felt a personal need to comment on my care. I strongly feel that Melissa Hare, the nurse who took care of me, deserves the DAISY Award. She was courteous and was aware of my need to be proactive in my care. She reassured my daughter. I observed how she and her techs kept things running smoothly and were friendly with the patients.

This handwritten letter was addressed to our COO, telling him of how pleased she was with the care that Melissa delivered. As a patient who has been cared for by many caregivers, Melissa's care truly made an impact on her.
