Last Tuesday early AM I went to the hospital because of chest pains, nausea, chills shoulder pain.....all the symptoms. I immediately was admitted to emergency. The ER staff was great starting with admissions, med tech, nursing and doctors. They all were very calming and provided accurate and timely information. Due to family history, and elevated triponin levels, Doc's decided to keep me overnight for observation and to run additional tests.
I was transferred to a third floor room. The staff was great, nursing, med tech and food service. I specifically want to thank two nurses who were exceptional and did a great job. First, Jane Marie Jamison (night nurse, recent Madonna graduate). She was outstanding, explained all medications in detail, what to expect through the night and the next morning. She really made me feel very comfortable with the entire process. Her service was just exceptional! When her shift was over she asked me how I felt and introduced me to nurse Molly Antony, and again explained the plan for the day.
Molly came in and was just like Jane Marie...caring, patient and full of information in prepping me for the heart cath procedure. Post heart cath, Molly was again very helpful, attentive and caring. I know both Jane Marie and Molly helped calm my family throughout the process.
