Cindy works with patients throughout the course of their hospitalization, always looking for ways to make their time at Sanford Sheldon a good experience and helping plan for their future. Her support of patients goes beyond the hospital unit.
A patient admitted for chronic problems was no longer able to have her service dog with her. Cindy volunteered to take the dog into her own home. Because Cindy lives near the hospital, she brought the dog in daily to visit her owner.
Cindy is a leader for the nursing staff and goes beyond her job description to find a way to support patients and their families with very special care. Cindy has been with Sanford Sheldon for nearly 33 years and definitely exemplifies passion for her job, the patients and the community she serves.
