Calvary Hospital recently honored Saikou Beyai, RN, with the Daisy Award.
Saikou began working at Calvary Hospital in 2006 as a Registered Nurse. He graduated from Bronx Community College in 2005 and from Lehman College in 2011. He received numerous nominations by his fellow nurses as well as family members.
One of his nomination forms included the following comment:
“As the daughter of a patient here, I am very sensitive to the manner in which the staff treats my beloved mom. When Saikou is on shift, I know that she will be treated with kindness and with prompt attention. I rest a little easier during my own workday when he is looking after my mother.”
