Mercy North’s 1st DAISY Award was awarded to Debbie Moore, RN. She has served as a registered nurse at Mercy since November 27, 1982. Colleagues and patients describe Debbie as “kind and compassionate” noting “she really takes the time she needs to make us feel comfortable and cared for.” Debbie has great technical skills and is often used as a resource for other nurses. Debbie is always willing to help her team and she will do it without complaining and get it done in the way it is supposed to. Debbie is known on the patient floors for expertise and her gentle caring spirit as a nurse and as a person.
