My sister went to the ER last Thursday night, she was 36 weeks pregnant. When she got to the labor and delivery floor, Becky helped her. She hadn't felt the baby move in a few hours, so my sister was very worried. Becky didn't find the heartbeat. She was extremely sensitive to my sister's needs. They told her the baby was gone and had to come back to deliver her. When we got back in the morning, Becky came in to greet us, she was so warm and welcoming and amazing. Labor took almost all day, Becky seemed more like a family member than a nurse. She checked in often, told us what was happening every step of the way. She cried with us, laughed with us, hugged, and talked to us. She deserved all of the praise in the world. She really helped during this terrible time, she made sure my sister was always comfortable. She was an angel sent to us during these horrible two days. I wanted to make sure she got recognized for the amazing empathy and kindness she showed during these dark days in our life.
