Katy was my daughter's primary nurse over several years during my daughter's stays. She was an amazing support tool for my daughter to recover from all she's endured. Katy would always put extra effort towards keeping her comfortable and would always make sure to make us feel a part of the team for my daughter. She has become like family because of the bond that was created, my daughter considers her a big sister and was able to gain courage to face the major obstacles she has faced over the years with Katy being by her side through it all. It is truly her passion to be the supportive, nurturing nurse to gain healing and accomplishment over anything! Katy is so deserving of this award and so much more, thank you!
