I was a patient on Unit 3 at Memorial Northpark Hospital and wanted to express how well taken care of and how loved I felt by the staff assigned to me. I would especially like to tell of my experience with the most wonderful and caring nurse that I have ever had the honor of meeting- Sandy Freeman.
Sandy made me feel like one of her own family members; she laughed, cried and spent time with me. She was always there when I needed her and never too busy to answer all of my questions. She helped me through one of the toughest times in my life. Sandy gives all of herself to her patients. I never felt alone and always felt safe. I really have never met anyone like Sandy and do not think I could have made it through my hospitalization without her.
Sandy has given me hope. I believe that we meet people for a reason and I believe that God sent Sandy to me. She has to be one of God’s angels here on earth sent to watch over us because she has so much compassion and truly views her job as a higher calling. She works with dedication and conviction!
I want to say “thank you” to Sandy. She means so much to me and I know I could never repay her for all she has done. She has restored my faith and strengthened my spirit. I know I have been touched by the hand of God through Sandy and I will pray for God to give her the strength to continue to touch lives. Sandy you mean more to me than words can express and my life is better just by crossing your path.
You are the best and I give you all of my love and respect-
