From the moment hospice got on board, Brittney Meyers spent many hours educating, training and patiently trying to get the facility on board with our plan of care for dad. Due to dad's unusual diagnosis, there were many struggles of having others and staff understand the diagnosis, behaviors, etc. On a Thursday, I arrived to visit my dad at the facility. Little did I know that later that afternoon, we would be loading his bed and chair and all his belongings into our truck and taking dad home to continue his hospice services at my sister's house with myself and my sister providing the care.
Brittney responded back to our calls or texts right away. No matter what the issue or question. It truly ended up working out in the end, but we would not have survived this journey without your amazing team members.
Brittney will always hold a very special place in our hearts, and in Dad's heart for the love and compassion that was shown to him; not only as a patient but as a human being. She truly treated him like he was one of her own family members and would not accept any failures or issues, but only complete success. There is not enough "thank you"s in the world that would be enough for what your team did for my family!
