Please allow me to nominate a nurse that has been an amazing mentor and preceptor. Kristy Goode has taken time away from her busy schedule to introduce me to Florida Hospital and Winter Park Pride! Kristy possesses a warm and caring smile that welcomes new people and immediately puts them at ease. From the moment I met Kristy, I was the recipient of her kind and welcoming spirit.

Busy learning her own new role, Kristy took the time and energy to help me learn mine as well. Always smiling, always ready to lend a helping hand, answer a question (for the tenth time), or provide confidence, this nurse is one of Winter Park's greatest assets. Kristy made my transition from new hire to one of the team very easy.

I want to share with you that Kristy is directly responsible for the ease of my transition. She allowed me to follow her own best practices, instead of trying to figure them out for myself. Kristy graciously handed me every tool she had developed, allowing me to step into success.
