Ashlee has worked with our Dad for several weeks in the PCU. She has shown her overwhelming compassion not only with Dad but with our entire family. We are extremely grateful for her caring, professional personality. Ashlee comes to work with a big smile and a positive attitude: It is infectious! Dad feels comfortable and safe with her. She has gained his trust. Ashlee is creative in meeting Dad's needs, both physically and emotionally. She takes the time to listen and understand. She taught him to use and push the red button to call her rather than the touch button that was difficult for him to manipulate. Ashlee is respectful to all who have been involved in his care. We recognize her knowledge and her gift of nursing services. Ashlee feels like a part of our family. She has gone above and beyond to make Dad feel like a whole person.
