The patient made a few phone calls seeking a physician that handles urinary frequency problems. Helen listened to the caller and probed for more information. Finding that he had stopped taking his anti-hypertensive meds and was dizzy. The patient experienced speech problems. Helen recommended he go to the ED. Upon arrival the patient blood sugar was 1400 and was in grave condition. Once he was discharged, the patient called back and said he didn't expect that from the MD referral line and that Helen was caring, compassionate and she had saved his life.
