Fontana Medical Center DAISY AWARD: November 2014 - Christina Zamora

Christina Zamora, Registered Nurse, 6 North, Fontana Medical Center, is being recognized, with the DAISY AWARD for the Extraordinary Care she provides to her patients each and every day.



Christina has been employed by the Fontana Medical Center for seven years, and currently works on the Medical / Surgical / Oncology Unit, 6 North, providing direct patient care. Christina's manager describes her as an "An Amazing Nurse". She states, "Christina is always smiling, she is loved by all our members and patients, she is a team player and is well liked by all her co-workers".



Christina was nominated by a patient that was very impressed with her compassionate care, and wrote a letter to her Manager to express his appreciation. He stated:

"Christina took care to a higher level. She kept a careful watch over me which provided me much comfort. She went above and beyond with the quality of her service. To me, Christina truly epitomizes what nursing and compassionate care is all about. She is an extraordinary asset to Kaiser and I am very appreciative of what she did for me in my time of need. Please extend my thanks to Christina on my behalf."



Christina is a remarkable nurse and he exemplifies the VALUES of Kaiser Permanente Nursing. She provides EXCELLENT care, with INTEGRITY and COMPASSION; she is a TEAM player, extremely PROFESSIONAL, and keeps the PATIENT AND FAMILY IN THE CENTER of everything that she does.
