My son was shot 3 times on August 2. He had surgery and went to SICU. Nurse Willie Lee Brantley exhibited extraordinary nursing skills, empathy and kindness to my son. His clinical skills were unmatched by anyone else. He was at my son's bedside at any given time to administer excellent nursing care. He made sure my son's condition didn't go south. Thanks to him, my son's condition improved greatly. My son was soon transferred to the Surgical Stepdown unit. We will be eternally grateful to our nurse, Willie Lee Brantley, for the unprecedented compassion and excellent care shown to my son. He is definitely an angel in disguise.
