It was my good fortune to be hospitalized under Bridgett's care for four or five of my eleven day stay in Cardiac Care. During that time, especially in the first days, I was required to be NPO or clear-fluid diet for various procedures that I needed.

When I came by ambulance, I hadn't eaten since the previous noon meal. It added up to about five (5) - 24 hour days without a meal. Bridgett was my loving, caring advocate through all this and questioned and called to make certain this was the best plan for my recovery, always with the utmost respect for the doctor's decision.

She also had a student that she would be orientating and was always very clear with her instructions and helpful. She expected much from them, but was always kind and teasingly forgiving with their few mistakes. I never once saw Bridgett frown or show any negative emotion!

She carries herself with an air of confidence that is extremely pleasant to her patients. During my stay she made me feel like I was her only patient, but she was always mentoring an almost full wing. Bridgett and the Sanford Staff made my 11 day stay a pleasant and informative experience, rather than drudgery!
