Rogelio was my nurse at some early point of my entrance here at University Hospital. I just went through a divorce 10 months ago, and for the last 7 months, I have not had my military medical benefits from my divorce. I own a limousine business here in San Antonio, as I am self-employed, I clearly understand customer service in dealing with the public. Rogelio is a true DAISY Nurse. If it's on the day shift or night shift, my nurse goes over and beyond his call of duty to not only assist all of his patients, but he makes you feel special and is very attentive to all of your needs. He connected with me from the day I met him, and he is very sincere when you need anything, and has no ulterior motive but to just help you feel better and more comfortable. He is an asset and a Godsend to University Hospital. Both of my sisters flew from out of state and have never been happier with my nurse. All of the staff has been great. My nurse made my family feel at home. My sister was trying to talk to the social worker to get me linked in with the Care Link program. It took a week to get connected and my nurse made it happen. He is the very very very best nurse in the hospital. He deserves to be recognized!
