Beth has been with the orthopedic service line since 1991 and has done a remarkable job establishingpatient-centeredcare for all her patients. Her commitment to providing exceptional care has shown through the development of online resources and support groups for the families. She goes above and beyond to ensure that the patients and their families fully understand the diagnosis and plan of care. She is a role model to her peers and continues to seek ways of providing the best and safest care available to all patients and families.

We had the privilege of having Mary Beth as my daughter's nurse through the orthopedic clinic. Our 3-week-old daughter needed to be put into a brace for her hips. During one of our visits, Mary Beth placed a new brace on her and, prior to doing that, allowed me to hold her and then offered to bathe her since she hadn't had a bath in 3 weeks. She brought in a bucket filled with warm water and soap along with towels and blankets to keep my daughter warm. She stayed with us as we bathed her and then helped get her dressed. She was very kind and went above and beyond by offering to bathe my baby instead of placing the new brace on right away.
I was very appreciative of her kindness and her going above and beyond to make my baby comfortable as well as comforting us during a difficult time. The orthopedic department is lucky to have such a great nurse working with them.
