Shortly after my mother was admitted to Sylvan Court, I met Kim Sulier. My first impression of Kim was that she was an excellent nurse. My opinion of Kim never changed over the course of two months that my mother was a resident at Sylvan Court.
At first, my mother was not happy about being admitted to Sylvan Court. She felt she would be just fine living in her own home. We knew much better than that. Mom so badly wanted to return to her home. Kim gave mom a lot of extra TLC to help her transition into life at Sylvan Court. Many thanks to Kim, and other employees, for working with mom to calm her down and be more comfortable at Sylvan Court. In time, mom adjusted quite well and was very happy with life at Sylvan Court.
Kim was always very kind, caring and professional. I greatly appreciated her medical knowledge and how she would answer our questions and explain things to us. I know that Kim probably had a lot of work to do and had many other residents to tend to, however, she always took the time to answer our questions and give support. She never made us feel that she was rushed or that she had to hurry on to someone else. She truly cared. It showed in her eyes and in the hugs she gave us.
One of my favorite quotes reminds me of Kim.People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. Even during the most difficult time in our lives, Kim made us feel as good as we possibly could. We will always remember her as being compassionate and very respectful. I don't think Kim ever left mom's room without saying, "Is there anything that I can do for you? Can I get something for you? Do you need anything?" We couldn't have been treated any better! Kim's customer service really shines!
The last few weeks of my mother's life were very difficult for her and for her family. Kim went above and beyond to make those last days a little easier for us, as well as my mother. She treated us as if we were her own family. There are not enough words to describe how Kim knew exactly what to say and what to do for us during our time of great sadness.
When I think of all of the nurses that I have known over the years, I can honestly say that Sylvan Court has an excellent nurse in Kim. She is truly an amazing asset for Sylvan Court. There should be more people in the medical profession like Kim.

I found Kim to be an amazing nurse to my mom and our family during my mom's stay at Sylvan Court. Kim especially went above and beyond when we all realized my mom's days left were very short. Kim spoke with wisdom and compassion. She was very tender with my mom and spoke to her with such kindness.
