Rachel is a silent hero in the Emergency Department. She is hard-working and driven in her work in the Emergency Department. She never complains and puts her whole heart into her nursing care. She seems to be our pediatric strength in Team Center C and the kids just gravitate towards her. I can count on her feedback to be accurate and reflect honestly on the situation. She is very trustworthy and dependable. I am always amazed at how Rachel can make patient and family-centered care look effortless and natural. Rachel would say, "it's the way, it is no big deal," but she goes above and beyond for her patients 100% of the time. I get staff recognition for her all the time and when I give her the feedback she is just so humble and kind. She is a true representation of the DAISY Award.
Rachel Van Hale has a positive attitude. She is extremely helpful to patients, visitors and other staff. Strong nursing skills. She is always smiling and has positive things to say about everyone.
