Ginny's passion for pediatric nursing is evident in each interaction that she has with patients and families on West 11. She consistently demonstrates patience and compassion when caring for many of the medically complex kids that may require frequent or extended hospitalizations. Ginny takes the extra time to comfort her patients and get to know what is important to each individual so that she may provide individualized care based on those preferences. She is a consistent caregiver for many of our patients on West 11. Her positive and upbeat attitude brings smiles to the faces of our patients and families and she is always willing to go above and beyond to make sure they have a positive experience on West 11.

After being at Children's for over a week, we have had our share of ups and downs. Ginny is one of our favorite nurses. She is the rock star but makes my daughter feel like one. She is kind, patient, understanding, caring, compassionate, and truly loves helping others. She has taken the time to get to know my daughter, to find out what is important and challenging to her. She listens and is helpful. She goes out of her way to make my daughter feel comfortable and safe.
