Sarah Adams is an extraordinary nurse. She always goes above and beyond for each patient she cares for to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. Recently, she prevented patient harm by her questioning attitude when a patient's medi-port didn't look quite right. The port ended up having a hole in the catheter requiring immediate removal. Sarah also recently earned her oncology nursing certification. She never fails to help out her co-workers when needed and takes on extra responsibilities in the cancer center with grace. She is an outstanding nurse and is deserving of this DAISY Award.
