From my first childbirth class to leaving WMMC with my first set of twins, Shaina has always been there for me. As a first-time mother, she made me feel so comfortable asking as many questions as I did when I took the childbirth class. Visit after visit to L&D (due to preterm labor) Shaina always came to see me if she was here and encouraged me so much as a woman and future mother. Her bedside manner is out of this world! I was never left wondering what was going to happen next or feel anxious about the unknown.
As "over my pregnancy" I was because of how big and heavy my kids were growing to, Shaina always reminded me that I got this and I'm such a strong woman. Once my children arrived, nothing fell short of excellence. The way she handled my babies, my mother, and I, was still blowing my mind. To make a patient feel so comfortable and confident going into a life-changing chapter really takes a unique person. Her energy was always so positive and relaxing to be around. Not to mention how quickly my children took to her.
I could continue to rave on and on about her, but for time sake I will end with this; there are not many nurses that I have encountered that are as hard-working, considerate, and caring as what I have experienced with Shaina. The L&D unit is so blessed to have her on the team, and we're blessed to have experienced such high-level care. Thank you so much for allowing me to show my appreciation and gratitude to her. It means the world to me.
