In her nomination form, Stanfill's nominator shared how calm, collected, and compassionate Stanfill was while the patient underwent an unexpected cesarean section:
"Robyn was with me every step of the way. Robyn, although performing her job, made me feel oddly calm in a scary situation. She talked me through what she was doing and kept a close eye on my baby girl. Robyn was my hero. She was able to recognize the danger, calmly evaluate it, and keep a new mama and daddy at ease through it all. I can't thank her enough. She is an extraordinary nurse."
