Angelique comforted me, made me feel welcome, reassured me, calmed me down, and explained everything that was going to happen.
I have been a patient at VHH for two days and wanted to thank the team of nurses that took care of me during my stay. After three days of being unable to sleep, my nephrologist told me to go immediately to the hospital as my blood analysis showed signs of trouble. I was scared, confused, and worried about what all this meant. The personnel quickly determined what needed to be done. When I was finally rolled up to the floor to be admitted I was still very scared and confused. I was greeted by my nurse, Angelique, which I assure you could not be a better name for her. She comforted me, made me feel welcome, reassured me, calmed me down, and explained everything that was going to happen. I know that this is part of a nurse's job, but the way she handled the situation made all the difference. That is beyond her job requirement.

After a few days of my mother being under this hospital's care, I met Angelique who introduced herself as my mother's nurse. She wrote all the important information on the board and proceeded to explain her plan for my mother that night. I felt very confident with all the services she provided and also how helpful she was at all times, even with all the duties she had for the night. As I'm writing this brief note, I feel that I'm expressing the feelings of all other patients that she was in charge of that night. Best wishes to your team, and keep up the hard work you put in for your patients. Big thank you!
