Both Marion and Isabel were involved in the care of a critically ill neonate with pulmonary hemorrhage. NICU care is truly a team effort and without this amazing team, the outcome for this infant may have been very different. The resuscitation of this infant involved several emergency procedures, ventilator management, and blood product administration. Marion and Isabel worked tirelessly with little to no breaks. They coordinated and rapidly administered blood products and medications. They updated the family and provided support to them. They provided support to me - carrying out orders but also asking questions and providing suggestions for care. They gave me a hug when I needed one most. These nurses deserve recognition and are amazing team players that I cannot do my job without.
