Molly was kind and compassionate and is meant to be a nurse, I don’t know how I would have managed without her.
Molly looked after me after I had an abnormality removed from my right upper lobe. The night after my surgery I was a terrible mess. The pain was astronomical, made worse by my fibromyalgia. Molly was with me throughout the night, controlling my pain, talking me through everything, and discreetly helping me with all aspects of personal care in a caring and dignified way.
Molly was kind and compassionate and is meant to be a nurse, I don't know how I would have managed without her. She even came to see me two times after her other shifts had ended. This made me feel so well cared for. Molly went so much more above what was expected of her and I would like her to be acknowledged for her amazing nursing skills.
I had been very scared about my surgery in case they found cancer. Molly talked me through everything that had happened whilst I was asleep and what my recovery would be like. I usually deal with pain well, but what I felt that night was terrible. Molly gave me the meds I needed but the level of compassion and dignity she gave me throughout the night was what helped me through the most.
Molly called the doctors immediately when my blood pressure went too low. She didn't leave my side and talked me through everything that was being done. I am a strong person but after my surgery, I felt very vulnerable. Molly took all of these feelings away and made me feel positive and hopeful.
Please could you let Molly know just how amazing she is at her job? Her care meant the world to me and indeed my family when I couldn't have visitors or outside support. She turned what was a scary time for me into something positive.
