My daughter and I had a poor experience in the ER. My daughter was suffering from an apparent reaction to medication with burning lesions on her face. It was terrifying. The ER doctor consulted with the teledoc resident dermatologist for a diagnosis. In the end, they sent us home without running any tests and claimed my daughter did this to herself. On our way out of the ER, a kind nurse said she had been watching us and showed us much-needed compassion. She asked us to go back to our room and wait for Nurse Rhett. He came to our room, patiently answered questions, and explored possible diagnoses. He gave excellent advice regarding treatment. We are grateful and hope he will be recognized for his exemplary service.
