Leo came in when I was feeling my worst. She asked me what I had been going through and explained all the meds and the unfortunate side effects. She removed my binder, which no one had asked me about or removed. She took the time and washed and massaged my back and stomach. That released more pain than all the meds I was given. I was then able to move better. She cleared my drains and re-bound me. She showed me great mercy and respect that I will never forget. Every evening following, I wanted to see Leo's smiling eyes and professionalism. She would tell me our nightly plan and execute. Leo did not just look at charts and medication, she saw what a patient needed to feel better. I know all she did was not Doctor's orders, but it was what I needed to get better. I truly believe Leo went so far above and beyond to ensure my wellness. I don't think I would've gotten better so soon without her care.
