Doug is one of my district nurses who have been helping me with my condition for the last two years. He has gone above and beyond with my care, helping to teach my wife how to do my wound care, and teaching me how to keep my wounds cleaner so it helps stop any infections. He will take the time to make sure my wife and I are ok during the numerous operations I have had and still need, and numerous hospital stays. He makes sure I have enough supplies, puts in my order so I never run out of what I need. He is always a happy, cheerful man who listens when I have a problem with my condition and will help whenever he can and also helps direct me to other people e.g. doctors, specialists, etc to make sure I am looked after properly.
