Every time Anita is working with my daughter, she takes the time to make sure my daughter is comfortable, calm, happy and developing well. Anita fixes my baby's bed, places cards and pictures in her giraffe for her to look at. Anita takes the time to explain things to me and gives great tips on feeding, developmental milestones I should be looking for, proper ways to hold her, feed her, and best practices. Anita makes me feel heard and that my opinion as a mother is valued, that my concerns and feelings have a place, and that my daughter's safety is a top priority. Whenever Anita is working I feel a lot less anxiety when I leave my baby or have to put her back in the bassinet. Anita makes me feel like my baby is in a safe place with someone who really cares. Anita goes above and beyond for all the babies in the NICU. She is wonderful and is a DAISY Nurse for all her hard work, knowledge, and compassion she shares.
