Debbie stood by her side holding her hands while comforting her the whole time the patient was being resuscitated.
One time, Debbie comforted the daughter of a patient who was being resuscitated by the code team. The relative was about to get married in a few weeks and was about to break down while seeing her father being revived by the team. Debbie stood by her side holding her hands while comforting her the whole time the patient was being resuscitated up to the point that he was pronounced dead.
She treats her colleagues as her own family. Her healthy relationship with her co-workers boosts her morale and motivates her to do her job well in caring for her patients. Despite the hectic tasks in her ward, she does not display any signs of fatigue nor burnout. In fact, she is able to handle pressures from work despite having personal problems. She does not allow her personal problems get in the way of how she cares for the patients she handles.
Debbie shows her love for her patients by treating them as her family. She shows her jolly side when she enters the patient's room. One of her patients even considered her as her own daughter. During the pandemic, she willingly stayed at the institution's provided lodging for three months so as not to affect staffing shortage that will handle patients in the COVID unit where she is assigned. She endured not seeing her family for that period.
