Dominga, it takes time for me to write this note. I'm a great talker but not a good writer. You stand out from others because of your compassion and being a good listener. I felt miserable because of my past and the pain in my wounds that bothered me a lot. You gave me comfort and turned my day into a nice day and a nice hospital stay. You made me feel so special by listening.
What I like about you - you never argue but you politely give a suggestion to make me feel better. Thank you for going the extra mile and keeping my pitcher with fresh water. I like your genuine character - very caring and you are not judgmental. I know sometimes patients are sometimes irrational but you managed it very well because I am one of them. I was very happy to have you as my nurse because you know that empathetic listening can improve patients' care and experience.
Your patience will put you in a very successful stage of your career. It means so much to me the way you cared for me. You are the kind of person who always builds bridges of understanding and will inspire others to excel. The reason I will remember you forever because I trusted you with my health and well being. Dominga was my 1st nurse on this visit and a great person to introduce me to your wonderful institution. She is warm and friendly and displayed her professionalism throughout.
