It is not often enough that we can take the time to do these small acts that mean the world to our patients.
Elizabeth Heliker along with her aid performed a small act that meant the world to their 18-year-old patient.
His brother was granted special permission to leave his military base in Cleveland Ohio to visit his little brother. Unfortunately, due to COVID restrictions, he was unable to enter the hospital.
Elizabeth and her PCT took the time to put the patient (Max assist) in a wheelchair and brought him to the window so that he and his brother could wave to each other while talking on the phone.
It is not often enough that we can take the time to do these small acts that mean the world to our patients. This small act of kindness that took much of their time, meant the world to the patient!
Kudos to an awesome team! You Rock!
