Rachele had a patient on the 5th floor. It was his 54th wedding anniversary with his wife and she was unable to visit due to COVID-19. Rachele went out of her way to help make his day more special. He was diagnosed with cancer in the morning so he was feeling a little extra down. Rachele went and organized a little celebration. She had the staff sign an anniversary card, got balloons from the gift shop saying congratulations and get well soon, called nutrition to put something on his food tray, and set up FaceTiming family. Rachele went out of her way to try and brighten his day! I believe that Rachele is a DAISY Nurse for doing ALL she can to support and show love to her patients.
