My husband was admitted to the hospital in March and then again in September of this year. Tabitha was his nurse each time. She needs to be commended for the excellent care and compassion. She definitely goes above and beyond her duties as a nurse. She helped to make a difficult time so much easier. She never hurried to leave the room. She always stayed to make sure we understood everything that was happening. She was always willing to get whatever my husband wanted or needed. She made calls to find answers to our questions. The ED had lost his shirt and she made calls to try and find it. She never had to do any of this either. She also made us comfortable with the nurse he would have for night and also the next day. She made sure we knew who they were and assured us they would take good care of my husband. She would stop in to see him before she left to see if he needed anything and to let us know when she would be back. She just would say good-night, which meant everything to us. All of this treatment truly shows how much she cares for her patients. This kind of care takes true compassion and caring. She is the best nurse ever. She was like a friend to us. Thank you, Tabitha.
