Sherrica was the only staff member working with me through the time our outpatient program closed. She made sure the patients in the hospital received the cardiac education they needed, whether in person or by phone.
Sherrica and I have worked together for years - we both worked nights in the CCU/ICU - and now she is on my amazing cardiac rehab team. If anyone knows night shift, you know it can be hectic at times, and you truly rely 100% on your coworkers, and Sherrica could always be counted on to get the job done and help you out without batting an eye. She has brought this same mindset to our team in cardiac rehab. Sherrica was the only staff member working with me through the time our outpatient program closed. She did so, again, without batting an eye. She made sure the patients in the hospital received the cardiac education they needed, whether in person or by phone. She stuck it out without complaining of decreased hours or loss of PTO. She has always been flexible to our needs and continues to amaze me with her strength.

Sherrica is so selfless. She has been an amazing partner to work with. During the pandemic, Sherrica was the only one from our department who came into work Phase 1 through it all to make sure our cardiac rehab patients were seen and didn't slip through the cracks. She stuck it out while others were off due to departmental closure and physical illness leaving her the only one available to do the job. Sherrica makes the workday fun, she is positive and uplifting, and a great teacher. We are blessed to have her as part of our team!

I recently had heart surgery. I had very good nursing care during this time. I would like to say a few things about this nurse. She was with me in the hospital and rehab. She is encouraging with workouts and it is helpful. She is helpful to everyone. She is a DAISY Nurse.
