Pam brought small balloons and a card signed by floor nurses/CNAs and we sang Happy Birthday!
Pam's willingness to connect with J and offer care that helped her healing was a blessing. Pam is positive and educational in her communication. J does not talk or walk. She communicates with smiles. J is my daughter. Pam made sure I knew how to care for the foley catheter. Pam heard me ask for us to be given time at night to sleep. She cleared the need for monitoring/safety with our (J's and my) need for rest. She was quiet on her check-ins, she arranged blood draws for a bit later. J turned 32 on Saturday. Pam's 2nd night shift was Saturday. She brought small balloons and a card signed by floor nurses/CNAs and we sang Happy Birthday! I thank God for bringing this gift of love and care for J. I am grateful for Pam's nursing care and her heart care. Every one we had, gave exemplary care. This is indeed a gifted place for and of healing.
