Becky is an outstanding leader and manager. She is a definite team player- she answers lights, does some patient care, works with staff for the best coverage of both 5 Med-Surg and 5 North. She bends over backward to accommodate patients but also backs up our staff in a very professional way. A true patient advocate and also champion nurse leader. She is a skilled clinician. She learns the new equipment and any changes in Epic so as to assist staff as needed. Becky also helps work on any potential problems for better patient care. She is a dedicated mentor, this shines as she works with staff, especially new hires, to make their job challenging and rewarding. Staff can ask questions and will answer questions or help find someone who can answer questions. She supports education, be it the validation fair or BSN classes. She also will explain procedures to staff and to patients. Becky helps to improve the folders for stroke, MI, CHF, the changes for alcohol and suicide as well. She is a very caring person, both to patients and staff, she treats each on an individual basis and what that person needs.
