It has been a rough week for my 88-year-old father, with his recent diagnosis, being put through the wringer with MRIs and Pet scans. He has a hard time with just about anything and he has an amputated leg also, which makes all hospital tests hard. We came to Blessing this morning for a biopsy of the mass in his lung and Dad was still worn out from yesterday's tests. Hilary was Dad's RN before and after his procedure. I don't think it's just one thing she did, but the whole time she was so pleasant and helpful with whatever Dad's issue or need was. She was patient and kind and completely put him at ease during a very difficult time. I have seen many nurses while helping both my elderly parents through many years of tests and hospital stays. Hilary stood out to me in my dad's tough journey.
