I love Shannon! I was a patient two times, one was for 20 days. At one point I was out of my mind and out of control. As I eased back to reality, there she was, next to me. (My family too.) She was an angel to me. Her presence, many, many times was uplifting! Her smile, words of encouragement, and professionalism, precious!

My mom had a really rough time after a hip revision in August. Her nurse was a true angel during this time. Shannon was mom's nurse for several days and although all the staff was wonderful, she really stood out. She showed so much patience and kindness. She was an advocate and made sure all mom's concerns were addressed.
There were many complications and changes, and she was on top of them all! She showed both a high level of compassion and caring but also skill. She knew her stuff and that made us all feel better. She went over and above checking on mom even when she wasn't assigned to be her nurse. You can tell this is her calling and she loves what she does. We feel lucky she was Mom's nurse.
