Patrick found out that my mother-in-law was a patient on another floor and contacted her nurse to arrange a visit. Words cannot begin to describe how happy my father-in-law was to see his bride.
Last week was a very difficult week for my husband and his family. His mom, who suffers from dementia, came into the emergency room with a perforated gallbladder. A few days later his dad came into the Emergency room with difficulty breathing and was found to have a bad heart valve and a very large aortic aneurysm. Patrick Shinoda was the nurse taking care of my father-in-law the day our family was given his poor prognosis. Patrick found out that my mother-in-law was a patient on another floor and contacted her nurse to arrange a visit. Words cannot begin to describe how happy my father-in-law was to see his bride. Our family cannot begin to express how grateful we are to Patrick for going above and beyond his job duties to make it possible for them to be together. Eventually, they were moved to the same room. Patrick even stopped by to check in on them several days later. We were all very touched by what Patrick Shinoda did for our family. Thank you, Patrick, for giving this family an experience they will always remember.
