Betty-Ann always preaches positivity and she displays the same, she is a role model many of us look up to. She has a caring personality, always lifting everyone else up.
Betty-Ann is a true description of an "Angel in Scrubs." As a Charge Nurse on the unit, she displays the attributes of an excellent leader. A leader who also leads by example. She talks the talk and walks the walk. She is a team player who never lets her teammates down. When Betty-Ann is in charge, the staff can rest assured to have the support they need, no matter how difficult the assignment is or how short-staffed we are. She always preaches positivity and she displays the same, she is a role model many of us look up to. She has a caring personality, always lifting everyone else up. She puts everyone's (staff and patients) interests before hers. I remember one day she broke down and cried because we had 3 patients fall back to back. She cares a lot for her unit and is a true DAISY Nurse.
***
Betty-Ann is an excellent and Extraordinary Nurse. She is professional, kind, and caring. Betty-Ann always goes above and beyond, not only, for the patients on the PCU floor but the nurses, techs, and family members. When Betty-Ann is charging, she does so with all of her heart. She attends to the patient as if they are her family. When nurses have 5 patients each, Betty-Ann has 40 patients from blood draws, IV insertion, cleaning and changing patients, calming restless and agitated patients, and reorienting the confused patients. She stops at nothing. She sometimes cares so much about the patients and the well-being of the staff on the floor that she forgets to take care of herself (not eating dinner.) PCU is a very challenging floor but when Betty-Ann charges she finds a way to calm everyone down. Betty-Ann is a Godsend for PCU. When I come and I see her name as charge, I KNOW WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A GOOD NIGHT. She always has everyone's back.
