It was evident from the moment she walked into the room that Melanie is the type of person who genuinely cares about not only the health but the quality of life that her patients experience! She not only took the time to make us feel comfortable during our stay but also made us feel like a member of her family!
We met Melanie on our 3rd day here (out of a 6-day total stay) and it was a serious 'a-ha' moment for us! This is what excellent care is SUPPOSED to be like! Her communication skills are amazing, not only in understanding when and how much pain management was needed but also in breaking down complex medical terms to an explanation that we could easily understand without making us feel stupid for asking. Her professionalism is also second to none - the respect we were given while under her care was also phenomenal. The only thing we (wished for)/ would change is to have met Melanie earlier in our stay or to have been under her care longer! She truly cares for others the way I feel she would want to be cared for if our roles were reversed! Thank you, Melanie! We won't soon forget you!
