Jenny came back after her shift was finished to complete my dressing change on her own time. Jenny also has a great singing voice, her singing put my fears at ease.
During my stay on 3NT, Jenny was my nurse she always explained what was happening with my care, she answered all my questions, she was kind, compassionate, and efficient.
I have very painful wounds on my legs and Jenny saw how much pain I was in each time she scrubbed my ulcerated wounds. She devised a two-tiered pain process to help me tolerate the pain. One day I was waiting for Jenny to change my dressings, during this shift Jenny was very busy caring for her other patients, and on this particular day she told me the next shift would do my dressing change. I really wanted Jenny to change my dressings because she had seen my wounds before and she knew how to control my pain and she could inform me on my healing progress. After I expressed my feelings to Jenny, she made sure I got to eat my dinner when it arrived so my meal would be hot, she then promised me she would do my dressing change. Jenny came back after her shift was finished to complete my dressing change on her own time. Jenny also has a great singing voice, her singing put my fears at ease. She even takes requests. Jenny truly cares for her patients. I appreciate the care she provided. She is a superstar.
