I had surgery recently, while all the staff were exemplary and showed great skills while I was being cared for through my surgery, one nurse stood above all, her name is Susan. She showed all of the traits of reverence, excellence, integrity, quality, compassion, and teamwork. She cared for me while I was in recovery. Susan showed me and the rest of that staff that teamwork, integrity, compassion are the main goal! All the staff at St. Joe's did a marvelous job, Susan showed me as a patient that people really do enjoy the career they have been chosen for in life. Susan made sure that I was getting the best treatment possible and that she truly cares. The quality of care and integrity of the exceptional teamwork the staff and Susan provided to me and my wife went far and beyond my expectations. If I would need surgery again I sure would love to have the same nurse take care of me. Susan, you did one beautiful job and showed me that in this time in our country there are people who really care.
