Amanda was so excited about going on vacation the next day, but her patient was wanting to leave AMA because he was worried someone would steal his tent and belongings (homeless). Amanda arranged to buy, pick-up, and deliver a tent for the patient even though her vacation had started and she had financial responsibilities of her own.
A second example of Amanda's selflessness was when she came in on her day off to paint a patient's nails. The patient simply expressed the desire to have her nails done, and Amanda made it happen.
These are only a couple of examples that show just how caring Amanda is. I'm sure there are so many more stories like this about Amanda that we just don't know about.
