My mother was admitted to ER with severe sepsis. Barbara was one of her attending nurses. She was so, kind, caring, and patient with my mother. I was extremely upset, emotional, and confused about her condition and Barbara explained things to me about my mother's sepsis in a way that I could understand.
Barbara also made time from her hectic ER schedule to talk to me and calm me down. I can't imagine how stressed all nurses are at this time, especially in the ER and for her to take time and give me so much personal attention and comfort meant so much to me and my mother. Barbara made me feel like my mom and I mattered to her. I appreciate Barbara's kindness and assistance so much.
