Julie was the head nurse for my day surgery, and she is one of the sweetest, most caring nurses I have encountered.
This was the 4th surgery this year at Ascension Seton and I have been extremely impressed with the quality of care I have received each time. Everyone from check-in to discharge goes the extra mile to be kind and show concern and Julie certainly tops that list.
She went the extra mile and took time to explain the details of the necessary paperwork. She was both engaging on a personal level and also professional. She demonstrated teamwork with co-workers and compassion for other patients on the floor. All of this was seamless in the effort as she navigated between people and roles.
With both compassion and a good sense of humor, she made an otherwise stressful situation stressless and gave me peace. I can't say enough good things about Julie's character, professionalism, and compassion.
